Vive Le Soleil, pronounced "so-lay" is the first time my vocals have appeared on one of my songs in a different language. Sometimes the vibe of a song happens in the middle of creating it, where the music basically tells you which direction it wants to go. In this case, everything was telling me I needed French vocals on it, and I was looking to my good friend, Chris Tinard, to hopefully get his voice. However, after experimenting with my own vocals, I realized that it needed a soft female voice. The problem was getting the pronunciation correct and most importantly, the grammar, because things are said in French differently than they are in English. Huge thanks to Chris, and also Anita Barbereau (collaborator on the "Transcend" single), for their help with it.
