-History:
Towards the stars or Звездам навстречу in Russian, is a Soviet song about space. The soviet space program called "Roscosmos" was the most progressive one of the time. Being the first country to send muliple living beings into space and the first to send a earth-orbiting satellite into space called the launches Sputnik 1. Whoever, they did not beat the USA in sending the first man to the moon. The 60's were the decade in wich the space race whas at it's peak, with the Americans basically "ending" it by sending a man on the moon in 1969.
This song first appeared in a concert and was sang by Lyudmila Zykina.
