Description
"The Tegenborg Waltz" is named for nyckelharpist Wilhelm Tegenborg (1840-1921).
"Gulamåra viten" refers to Jan Ersson, who lived between 1799 and 1846. The name comes from his village of birth and that he is said to have always driven a white horse when on his way to a gig.
This recording and photographs are part of the material Jan Ling produced for his doctoral thesis Nyckelharpan - Studier i ett folkligt musikinstrument (The Nyckelharpa - Studies of a Folk Instrument) (1967).
