1. 掤 peng(Warding off)
2. 挼 Lv(Rolling back)
3. 挤 Ji(Pressing)
4. 按 An(Pushing)


These are four of the eight most basic movements of Tai Chi, which express the four ways of using power.
Peng is the outward spread and attack of power;
Lv is the retraction and defense of force;
Ji is the concentration of power in a point and burst;
An is the absorption and conversion of force.
