This was the encore for the evening with the fab Poncho Sanchez still slapping the skins 5 decades in! Top notch musicians in his ensemble, which he made sure all got plenty of chances to shine. Sorry for less than stellar camera work. Had to shoot it vertically (and then crop it horizontally to fit youtube's regular frame), as the tiered seating in the venue forced me to shoot between the heads in front of me if I didn’t want to be an a-hole blocking the views of the people behind me with my camera. I’m sure my big noggin was already enough in their way. He's a legend to some, and should be to you too! Go see him live, as no camera can capture the room energy his band creates.
