This is the first song of my own choosing I learned how to play on the piano, when I was 12-13 years old. I haven’t played it in about five or six years at this point (nearly 21 now), but I decided to sit down at my home piano and see if I could still remember it. I think I still somewhat have it.

I know the only people who are going to watch this video and read the description are my 20 or so most fervent watchers, and to you all I cannot thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me for the past few years. In lieu of a generic pinned comment—for the 20 of you—I’m gonna announce here that I’m going to be releasing all the music I’ve made during 2017-2018 (like ANAPHORA) in the coming weeks, one song a week, until it’s all gone. While I initially had big plans for albums and projects based around those pieces, they have since become a weight over my head stopping me from working on new projects until they are “complete.” For my own psyche, I cannot do this anymore. I need to start fresh. I need to start new.

"Lost & Found”, a new collection of music that was recorded in a dorm room at the University of British Columbia, will be coming out soon on all streaming platforms. It’s a collection of music that is definitively flawed but still very much my own. I hope that you will enjoy them. I know I will enjoy getting rid of them.

Some piano interludes will be on this album to further help separate the tracks, as many of them were never meant to share the same project heading. I’ll be recording those over the next few days, and will ultimately release all of them in their own continuous video.
