This haunting song came to Jesse in a dream one month after the siege at Wounded Knee after walking through the Black Hills of South Dakota.
A pioneer in American roots music, Jesse Colin Young was a founding member and vocalist for the 60's band, The Youngbloods. He went solo in 1972 after the dissolution of the Youngbloods. His music genre covers everything from Rock and Roll to Folk.
