So I was asked the question "Why do you still believe in love?" recently. And as I was going through some songs that I thought I could cover this one really reminded me of that question and it brought up a lot of feelings I had regarding the topic. I really enjoy creating meaningful bonds with people and I guess it's the hopeless romantic in me that keeps holding on to the idea of finding someone who you can grow together with. In any case, that's enough of me rambling, the song is called "Ain't No Reason" and it's by Brett Dennen. I feel this song can have a lot of different meanings/interpretations depending on who hears it as well as what state of mind you're in. That's one of the things I love so much about art in general, the interpretation is up to the beholder. And it's up to the performer as well as the creator to shape and guide that interpretation. Now I'm really done rambling, I guess this is a topic I'm quite passionate about.
